The Green Valley High School Alumni Foundation was founded for the purpose of providing resources for the school to enable it to continue its many traditions of excellence in the four core areas of Academics, Arts, Activities and Athletics.
For over a quarter of a century Green Valley High School has been a flagship school of Clark County School District. As we enter the next quarter century we are committed to making sure that all of our students are able to experience a world class education regardless of the nature of their interests. It is toward that end that we have come to you to as someone who loves Green Valley the way we do and wants to see how high we can set the bar in terms of achievement.
Our Priorities
The Green Valley High School Alumni Association has three major priorities:
- Raise funds for major capital projects on campus which cannot be completed with district, state, or federal funds as currently allocated. These include: A Performing Arts Building, An Athletic Training Center, Athletic Field Artificial Turf.
- Create a fund for scholarships with the end goal being to award at least one, but preferably several, deserving students with a fully funded college education in the state of Nevada.
- Build a reserve fund, which after it is wisely invested, is to be used in support of programs or other special projects at the school which cannot be properly resourced with either district, state, or federal funds as currently allocated.
